Hunter Bledsoe

At only 18-years-old, Hunter Bledsoe has already racked up an impressive racing resumé in a short amount of time.

Bledsoe began his racing career at 16 years old racing Legends cars at Concord Motorsports Park in the Young Lions division. In only his eighth start, Bledsoe brought home his first win in a Legends car. The very next week he backed up his first win with another, and he already had back-to-back wins in under ten total starts.

Through the summer of 2008, Bledsoe continue to leave other competitors in his tracks all across North Carolina. Competing at historic tracks such as Tri-County Motor Speedway, Caraway Speedway and in the summer shootout series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Bledsoe came away with four wins, 12-top- five finishes and 17 top- 10 finishes for the season.

Proving that he's versatile behind the wheel of a car, Bledsoe also took to the track in 2008 behind the wheel of a Thunder Roadster car and brought home some prestigious awards in the process. Bledsoe was the 2008 INEX State Points Winner for North Carolina and he finished 17th in the nation for the King of the Ovals final points standings.

In 2009, Bledsoe took the next step in his driving career and moved up to compete in the Semi-Pro division in Legends cars. Taking that next step up to the more difficult level of competition didn't seem to face Bledsoe at all, as the young driver earned 14 top-10 finishes and seven top-five finishes for the 2009 racing season.

Bledsoe returned to the driver's seat of his Thunder Roadster once again in 2009, and it was a season for the history books. When all was said and done Bledsoe recorded two wins, 21 top-five finishes and 22 top-10 finishes for the year. Repeating his title from 2008, Bledsoe was again the INEX State Points Champion for 2009.

This season, during the summer of 2010, Bledsoe moved on to tackle a whole new challenge in his driving career: Limited Late Models. Bledsoe competed a whole season at Myrtle Beach Speedway finishing 9th in points for the Limited Late Model season. He also ran select races at Florence Motor Speedway, Hickory Motor Speedway and Ace Speedway. For the season, Bledsoe had three wins, seven top-five finishes and eight top-10 finishes.

In addition to pursuing his driving career, Bledsoe is attending college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and studying engineering.
