Christian PaHud

It did not take long for Christian PaHud’s family and friends to realize he was born to be a racer.  After receiving a Go Kart from his grandpa at age three, Christian started his first race on his fourth birthday. Following races, Christian would often climb out of his Go Kart and into his car seat for the ride home.

Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Christian experienced great success racing in the Ohio Valley Karting Association, Ohio Sprint Series, Great Lakes Sprint Series and Manufacturer’s Cup. To date, Christian has completed over 250 races in Karts and Legends cars, winning numerous races and championships in both.

Christian’s career is decorated with championships and awards in several series in divisions in the Midwest. Christian took home World Karting Manufacturers Cup Grand National Championships in 2003 and 2004 and was named the 2004 Great Lakes Sprint Series Junior Sportsman Driver of the Year.

In 2007, Christian and his family moved to North Carolina shortly after the young driver began racing Legends cars. Christian was the Summer Shootout Series Semi Pro Legends Champion in 2007 and finished in the Top 10 in National Points. In 2008, Christian returned to Legends racing again finishing in the Top 10 in National Points and winning the Pro Legends Road Course state championship.

In 2009, Christian moved to stock car racing. He ran in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Tri-County Motor Speedway, finishing third in the limited late model division point standings. It did not take long for Christian to start winning in his new environment, as he scored three feature wins last year.

In 2010, Christian will again pilot the No. 63 Orion Motorsports/Tri-Star Racewear Chevy in the NASCAR Whelen All-American series at Tri-County Motor Speedway. Competing in his second year in the limited late model division, Christian hopes to capture the track championship this season.

Away from the track, the fourth generation driver is never far from racing. Christian spends his free time driving remote control cars and racing online. Christian is currently a senior at Hickory Ridge High School in Harrisburg, NC.
