Trey Marcham

He may only be 19-years-old, but Trey Marcham has already made his mark as a serious contender in the world of Mini Sprints

While Marcham attends the University of Oklahoma to major in mechanical engineering, he also makes it out to the racetrack every weekend. Originally starting his racing career in the Southwest competing in the highly challenging Micro Sprint division, Trey has quickly evolved to become a solid national championship contender as well.

When Trey was just 10-years-old, he began racing at I-44 Speedway (OK), and it wasn’t long before he started producing impressive results. From 2004 to 2009, Trey accumulated nine different championships racing at I-44: 2004 Nationals Restrictor Champion, 2005 Ryan Craighead Memorial Restrictors Champion, 2005 Restrictor Track Champion, 2006 A-Class Rookie of the Year, 2007 Limited Rookie of the Year, 2007 Nationals A-Class Champion, 2008 Limited Track Champion, and 2009 Limited and A-Class Champion.

2010 proves to be a promising year for Trey as he continues to tackle a new beast. Not only is he dominating at numerous Southwest Mini Sprint tracks, Trey is also competing in the NASCAR Whelen Weekly Racing Series Late Models in the Charlotte, North Carolina area with the help of Orion motorsports and Activ8 Development.

Potentially, Trey looks toward becoming a contender in the NASCAR Camping World East Series, while continuing to set his sights on competing in the “big three”.
