Driver Chris Young to Appear at Bridgehampton National Bank Opening

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 24, 2010) - School may be out for the summer, but for INEX Legends Car driver Chris Young the work never stops. Between preparing for races, being at the track and working at the shop, Young finds time to be a 16-year-old.

Young values hard-work and giving back to the community, which contributes to his nature as a top-competitor and a perfect fit for marketing partner Bridgehampton National Bank. On July2, 2010 from noon - 2 p.m., fans have the opportunity to visit Young at the new Bridgehampton National Bank branch in Center Moriches, N.Y. This summer, Young will continue to race at nearby Riverhead Raceway, marking a great opportunity for race fans to meet a rising local star.

"One of my newest marketing partners, Bridge Hampton National Bank, is opening a new branch in Center Moriches on Friday July 2, 2010," said Young. "I am thrilled to be doing a special appearance, and I can't wait to be a part of the special day, including barbecue and entertainment."

The Bridgehampton National Bank is located at 15 Frowein Rd. Suite A-3, Center Moriches, NY 11934.

Aside from sharing his passion for motorsports with the community, Young is focused on winning races. He is coming off an eventful race at Riverhead Raceway on June 19, where he was forced to race his way from the back to the front on several occasions. Starting eighth out of 25 cars, Young was stuck in the outside groove as he got pushed back to 12th. Once he was able to find a rhythm, he quickly moved up to third place in less than five laps.

With three laps to go, Young was spun out by another car and went to the back of the field. Young proved his racing prowess and wasted no time as he picked up as many positions as he could before the end of the race, finishing in the 11th spot.

About Chris Young

Chris Young is a 16-year-old Legends car racer. He's been around racing his entire life, and recently began driving himself. He hopes to gain experience in the legends cars before making a move up the racing ladder. He was victorious in just his seventh start in a Legends car, winning a national event during Speedweeks at Orlando SpeedWorld in Orlando, Fl. in the spring of 2009.
